Shrine Bell is the new fiction imprint of Vertebrate Publishing – one of the UK’s leading publishers of outdoor literature. This is where you can find all the latest information about new books by some of the most talented up-and-coming fiction writers around.
Originally the working title of Vertebrate’s first book for teenage readers –The Everest Files, by Matt Dickinson – Shrine Bell was created in response to Vertebrate’s expansion into fiction and as part of its ambition to publish quality adventure stories that inspire readers – young and old – to get outside and explore the natural world.
The imprint is the new home of some of Vertebrate’s best-loved books including Matt Dickinson’s popular Carnegie Medal nominated Everest Files series and The Snowdonia Chronicles, by award-winning teen and children’s writer, Sarah Mussi. The first acquisition for Shrine Bell is Matt’s latest teen thriller, Lie Kill Walk Away, which follows the adventures of two teenagers on the run to save the world from a devastating new bioweapon.
